Russell Crowe is far from my favourite. Sanctimonious, scurrilous, pedantic - I could go on and on. But there is one thing I love about Russell Crowe. The man has impeccable taste in hockey. And he is passing on this gift to his son, always wearing his blue and white loud and proud, extending the universal spirit of Leaf Nation not only beyond Canada but Down Under and even in LA, where Russell is currently in negotiations for his next project and a potential co-starring role alongside Denzel Washington, which would make quite the explosive lineup. Oh and speaking of Denzel, I can"t seem to find any photos of him with his wife at the premiere of Inside Man in New York tonight. A curious development, especially since Pauletta is always with him when things are well. I"m going to keep looking but that awful buzz is starting to get very, very loud. Will let you know when I do. Promise.
