It breaks my heart a little at how adorably awkward Kit Harington looks in almost every photo from the Emmys last night. He seemed slightly more comfortable the day before at the BAFTA LA tea party in skinny khakis and a white shirt.

I try not to spend too much time thinking about Game of Thrones. It’s maddening. Yes they’ve confirmed for a second season but I’m not even sure how deep into production they are considering the last I heard, which was 6 weeks ago, the writers were still trying to sort out the story, working on what to adapt from the dense source material. Given the amount of time it took to shoot Season1, is 7 months enough time? April is only 7 months away. April is when Season 1 premiered.

And, um, how can they possibly expect to film the entire series when it took something like 5 years or more for the 5th book to be written and there are still two more and this is suuuuuch an expensive project? HBO has already said that it doesn’t know if they’ll cover all of it. So when do they stop?

See? I try not to spend too much time thinking about Game of Thrones. I try not to spend too much time wondering when Jon Snow will get a sex scene and who will kill that little bitch incest child. Because for him there cannot be much of a future.
