What Else?

Kylie Jenner wore pink and a veil to the Schiaparelli show in Paris and I’ll share again my opinion on Kylie Jenner and her fashion – everything, to me, looks the same on her. The designs on their own could be wildly different but when Kylie wears them, I can’t identify one outfit from the other. 

In general I find this of all the Kardashian-Jenners but especially Kim and Kylie. Like the only exception that pops to mind with Kim is that Givenchy floral dress she wore to the Met Gala when she was pregnant. (GoFugYourself)

John Waters just gave a hilarious interview in which he trashes the word “journey” and I love him for it. Journey is indeed overused and I try not to use it here but the f-cking habit is hard to break. So with this inspiration from John, I pledge to remove it from the LaineyGossip vocabulary. Finally got around to reading that Sean Penn interview in the New York Times as he promotes his new film, Daddio, co-starring Dakota Johnson. I saw it last year for TIFF and it’s uncomfortable and provocative and they both give strong performances. But also, Sean Penn is f-cking insufferable. He’s out here talking about how he’s so happy to not be in love and not be in a relationship and he makes it sound like the women and the drama are the problem and not HIM. Like at one point he starts bitching about how in one of his marriages “the background noise of life was Housewives of Beverly Hills or another thing called Love Island” and it made him think that he was “dying” and his “brain was shrinking” and that could only possibly be Leila George, his most recent ex-wife, who is over 30 years younger than he is. Which, f-ck you, if you’re going to marry someone so much younger and expect her not to have interests that people her age would have, you asshole. (NY Times)
