I am not an expert on Laguna Beach or The Hills but I was surrounded during the height of their popularity by people who are/were experts. So I know enough about the most famous cast members, and enough about their various beefs. Can you believe it’s been over 20 years since Laguna Beach first premiered? And pretty much exactly 20 years since The Hills premiered? Lauren Conrad just turned 40, ffs.

The Laguna Beach Reunion will air on Roku on April 10, bringing together the original cast members, and I suppose this tracks since Hilary Duff is also on a comeback. There was a red carpet event last night, and Lauren and Kristin Cavallari, the two leads from the show, and also archenemies at the time, both wore white. There is no animosity now though – and they’re not just playing nice for the cameras. These people are grown, they have children, the sh-t they popped off about two decades ago no longer matters. Colour coordinating isn’t for competition, it’s because it looks that much better in the photos. And Kristin recreated her notorious white dress moment from the show when she was the only one who showed up in white at that party and the other girls judged her for it.

I wish she would have recreated the hair…do you remember this extreme side part and the blunt layers? It wasn’t just Kristin, so many girls in the 2000s were wearing their hair like this and since so much of the styles from back then are coming back, I wonder if this will make a return too.

What else happened today…

Anya Taylor-Joy wore a giant hat to promote Super Mario Galaxy and I know this is supposed to be… noteworthy… but all of her looks for a while now have been mostly shrugs for me, including this one. (Go Fug Yourself)

Megan Thee Stallion has had a big week – Broadway, Cheetos, and now Tyger. There’s a new baby in her family! And he’s so sweet, I love him so much. But, um, Tyger’s brother’s might not be loving him because as Kayleigh Donaldson notes, integrating pets is reality TV levels of drama, I know this first hand because we brought Elvis home when Barney was five and that first night was a mess. Barney was like, WHAT THE F-CK WHY DID YOU RUIN MY LIFE, and wanted no part of his new little brother. It took a few weeks but now? Now they are obsessed with each other. I look forward to watching Tyger and 4oe fall in love, the new show on Meg’s IG. GIVE US THIS SHOW! (Pajiba)
