The annual Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation gala happened last night in St Tropez. This is when Leo invites some very wealthy people to his party and encourages them to make a donation by seating them with models and a few of his celebrity friends. This year, those celebrity friends, in addition to his Wolf Pack, included Madonna, Sean Penn, Lenny Kravitz, and Kate Winslet. Also Billy Zane. So it was a Titanic reunion.

Leo and Kate are close. She’s actually called him her best friend and she’s one of the few women over 25 that doesn’t disgust him. You can count Jennifer Meyer in that group as well. But that’s also because romance was never, ever a possibility. As Kate said herself back in 2012, "I think the reason that friendship works is because there was never any romantic thing”. She went on to explain that, “He always saw me as one of the boys”.
I feel like that’s his general assessment of women who aren’t models though – “just one of the boys”. The girls are the ones he spends time with when he takes his suit off, at the after-party. And, as shown in these photos, they all meet his usual standards. For Leo, every night at the club is a season of The Bachelor.
