It feels to me like the 2025 Formula One season just ended… so howwwww are we already talking about the new season? Well, because it’s starting soon. Which is crazy to me, but testing starts in three weeks, WTF?

Last year was probably the worst, if not one of the worst, in Lewis Hamilton’s career, no Grand Prix wins or podiums. And, sure, there are some who’ve been saying that Lewis is past his prime, and isn’t performing to his former standard but also, it’s well-known throughout motorsport that the car wasn’t it. Ferrari did not have a car that could compete in 2025 which, by the way, is why Charles Leclerc didn’t have a good season either, because he also had issues with the car.

Anyway, Ferrari is presenting the 2026 car on Friday and this is also when Lewis will be driving it for the time before the Barcelona shakedown next week. It’ll be interesting to see what his vibe is, because he sounded very low at the end of 2025, admitting that the confidence just wasn’t there. He didn’t believe in the car and it was obvious that he wasn’t believing in himself. Will his energy change now that he’s had a break?

Before all of that though, Lewis had some other work to take care of today. Here he is at Paris Fashion Week today, he’s an ambassador and he’s a world champion in this department too. This grey set is insane, I wish I could touch it – not inappropriately! – to feel the material. Because it looks both stiff and soft, like a tracksuit but also a sweater set but also… a suit with the pleated pants the lapels on a hybrid blazer-cardigan.

He was also seen heading to the show in a tailcoat with the scarf positioned to look like it was part of it, this is gorgeous and custom, because the version that was sent down the runway was olive and not black.

Robert Pattinson and Jamie Dornan, who are both also affiliated with Dior and/or Jonathan Anderson, were there too. This is a big deal for the Twilight/Fifty Shades hive… if you’re still out there.
