Lewis Hamilton's work with Lululemon makes it highly unlikely Kim Kardashian has recruited him for SKIMS

The two previous posts today were about Margot Robbie and Wuthering Heights and Love Story, the series about JFK Jr and Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. So I guess doomed and or toxic romances are one of the themes? I guess it might be kinda apropos then to talk about Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton next. They spent the weekend in the Cotswolds and yesterday they were in Paris – we don’t have access to the photos of them making a discreet arrival at their hotel together but please be assured – or disappointed – that they were together before Kim stepped out on her own.

We’ll get to that in a minute, let’s focus first on the discretion because this is not usually a word we associate with Kim and her family. Blurry photos of them pulling up to the hotel, no clear HQ shots of them together, isn’t on-brand for the Kardashian-Jenners. And if Lewis Hamilton really is Kim’s new boyfriend, you know she must be puffy AF about it and wanting to flaunt it. Well, now, we conveniently know and the speculation will have to be satisfying enough, especially since she’s also promoting the Nike x SKIMS collaboration which is the official reason behind her trip. There are pop-ups in both London and Paris.

Those who are hoping that the Kim and Lewis business isn’t true are wondering then if it might actually just be business – maybe Kim, who’s been friends with Lewis for a long time, has recruited him for SKIMS?

It would actually be a conflict of interest. Lewis is Lululemon’s brand ambassador. SKIMS has been challenging Lululemon in the market for a while now. And NikeSKIMS is an added layer of competition – Bloomberg actually reported on this six months ago, that “Lululemon was [facing] a new threat” with the Nike and SKIMS partnership. So if Lewis is still repping Lululemon, and he was just a month ago suggesting that the initial confirmations last year about it being a multi-year deal were accurate, it would be highly, highly unlikely that he could model for Nike or SKIMS without there being an issue with the contract.

My point is… Kim might be there for work but he might just be there, um, not for work but for pleasure.
