Taylor Swift played the first of two shows in Washington DC last night. And her friend Lorde was there as the special guest. Then they told each other how much they love each other over Instagram:

Just in case you missed that point, Lorde travelled for almost an entire day so she could join Taylor on stage.

Also, Matthew Morrison was in the crowd.

Before the show, Taylor supposedly visited the White House. And now people are wondering if there might be an Obama appearance at tonight’s show. He’s been busy today reducing nukes in Iran though. FLOTUS then? I would love to see FLOTUS walking the runway during Style. At this point, can you think of a better place than Taylor Swift’s concert to send the Let’s Move message? Any message?
