Dear Gossips,

Madonna released her video for "Medellin" featuring Maluma yesterday live on MTV and also did a 30 minute interview at MTV Studios in London. It felt like a throwback to a time before social media – and that was probably intentional. She said that with the new album, Madame X, she’s trying to recapture the attitude she had at the beginning of her career: 

“I wanted to be able to go back to that time in my life when I was just starting out in New York and I didn’t care what people thought, and my music really came without listening to all the noise and recommendations or suggestions, or whatever. That is also the time in my life, when I was 19, when I was given the name Madame X. So the whole story has come full-circle…. Madame X is back to her roots. She doesn’t care zero you-know-whats."

It was apparently Martha Graham who gave her the nickname back then. Madonna was training at Martha Graham’s company and she frequently broke the rules, which is when Martha started calling her that. 

The video is fun, it’s Madonna having more fun, it seems, than we’ve seen in a long time. She’s dancing with so much joy – the moves are still there, but there’s a…sense of freeness and humour?... that I’m picking up. Maybe it’s just me, enjoying the way she looks on that horse. Maybe it’s just me enjoying the way Maluma looks, period. HOLY SH-T he is so f-cking hot. Also, when she licks his foot? 

Ummm…me too? 

And that’s not my kink. But there are a lot of kinks I would now consider for Maluma. If you haven’t watched this yet, prepare yourself. It’s almost unhealthy how sexy he is, GOD.
