See what I mean about those supposed Hollywood Style Awards? No disrespect to Mandy Moore but she’s not exactly Kristen Stewart. Andrea Riseborough was the biggest name there, and people still haven’t seen her breakout movie yet. Which tells you something about this event.
Anyway, Mandy’s kept a very, very low profile all year since performing at the Oscars last February. There’s really not a lot going on for her professionally – straight to DVD releases – so instead she’s been focusing on philanthrophic work. Sounds good to me. Given her status these days then, she kept it relatively modest at the event last night in an unremarkable but flattering black dress with red lips and red shoes and you know, normally I don’t love the red shoe but it’s less offensive to me here, done this way, almost as an afterthought rather than as a centrepiece.
