“Where’d she go?” This entire exchange.

My beautiful Succession babies! They are all really thriving, which maybe comes down to the casting of actors who do theatre and TV/film. 

Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, Brian Cox, Matthew Macfadyen, J. Smith-Cameron and Arian Moayed all consistently work in theatre. Alan Ruck came from theatre. Nicholas Braun was supposed to be heading to the theatre too in Kenneth Lonergan’s Lobby Hero but there hasn’t been an update on that in over a year. 

Leanne Morgan is the comedian of the moment with a new Chuck Lorre comedy on Netflix. She works “clean” (which worked well for Seinfeld and Ellen) and is all about the everywoman. Which for Chuck Lorre means lots of aging jokes.  

Tiffany Haddish and Jason Lee (of Hollywood Unlocked) had a baby…? Tiffany is a very consistent worker and she has been more quiet recently, but no one is sure if this is actually what it looks like. 

Of course The Rock is the movie star who is so busy he’d agree, at least in theory, to digitally cloning himself. Disney planned a live-action Moana using a deep fake Dwayne Johnson (with his permission) but couldn’t come to terms with the AI company. I know The Rock is all about hustle culture but he’s also about brand value: what’s the long-term impact on a brand if a lab can do your job? There’s cutting edge, then there’s cutting yourself out of the process.
