I’ve only been up for a couple of hours and already it feels like it’ll be a slog. But these are the times you need Mimi. Many of you emailed yesterday about the Mimi double amazingness post – her appearance(s) on the Home Shopping Network and the vocal throwdown with her ma. Click here if you missed it.

Today is the first day of the season of giving. And today’s gift comes courtesy of Mimi yet again via Rich Juzwiak who recently put together the montage of Taylor Swift’s constant “surprise”. It’s similar to a video I posted a couple of years ago that I can no longer find that featured Mimi’s consistent repeating of herself:

- that she did 500 hours of “Beauty School”
- that she loves rainbows
- that she’s only slept with 5 men

And on and on and on. It was awesome.

This is equally awesome. I’ve already enjoyed it twice. I plan to enjoy it twice more before the day is over.

Yesterday Jacek and I had a rather thorough discussion on how she might have been transported into the HSN studio that day. We are totally convinced that they actually carried the furniture in WITH HER ON IT. From her house. She’s an angel on a swing brought here to give us joy.
