Mark Ruffalo arrived in Berlin today presumably to promote Shutter Island with Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio. He’s gradually edging back into the public eye following the death of his brother. Last year Mark went ahead on production of his Sympathy for Delicious which recently screened at Sundance. He directed the film in his brother’s honour.

Soon as he exited the airport, he obliged fans with autographs and photos, always the sweetest, most gracious. And, really, that’s what he is. Have never heard a word against him, have met him at TIFF on several occasions, and every time he was the same: not just nice, but the nicest. He’s someone you root for you, you always want him to win, and his reputation among his peers is nothing short of exemplary.
