Martha Stewart has launched her skin care line with two products: a serum and a supplement. She’s a marketing pro so curious as to how she taps into her fan base with the price: it’s $135 US for the serum and $50 for the supplements, with price adjustments for purchasing a package or subscription.
Definitely not drugstore prices, but more in line with higher-end department store brands.
Speaking of celebrity beauty lines, I impulse-purchased the Victoria Beckham foundation drops (and I never, ever wear foundation and rarely wear makeup) and I’m sorry to report that they are silky smooth and light as can be. The reason I’m apologizing is the price. Like damn, Posh!
“She was the queen of the spiritual memoir – so how did Elizabeth Gilbert end up plotting to murder her girlfriend?” Now you may think this headline is sensational but it actually barely touches the most sensational a parts of the memoir (of which I have only read excerpts). Eat, Pray, Love author Elizabeth Gilbert is making the rounds on Oprah, on the NYT’s Modern Love, The Cut, and received a review from The New Yorker.
Is this another “enlightened” grifter, a white woman fortune cookie doling out platitudes? Or is she a profoundly flawed and insightful human living a life that male memoirists are lauded for? I really don’t know, but I do wonder if the women who flocked to Eat, Pray, Love will embrace this book the same way.
I should not be surprised that Severance has superfans. I should not be surprised that those superfans are mad at The Pitt. I was also unfamiliar with Shabana Azeez’s game and I will rectify that right now.
just had a coffee SO vile at lax i’m almost certain a severance superfan made it

Gasp, I love this busy cover. It’s a refreshing antidote to quiet luxury minimalism to death that has gotten quite boring.
