Last night at the Metropolitan Opera 125th anniversary gala in New York, Mary-Kate Olsen brought her prune lips and painted them red, accompanied by boyfriend Nate Lowman. As you can see, MK looked extra pale in black, working the red carpet the only way she knows how – pruning, puckering, pleased to be standing out despite her diminutive little body.
Do you hate it?
Of course you do.
She expects you to.
MK abhors the generic. And she probably considers it an insult to be called pretty. The fact that you think she looks dreadful is a compliment. She wears it with pride.
