After my post on An Evening With Meryl Streep at the ROM many of you asked if there was video. This was the interview with Johanna Schneller during which Streep offered many, many memorable insights including the one about being “capable”. Her mother told her she was CAPABLE. Not special, but capable.

Here’s Ms Meryl last week with Kevin Kline at a cocktail party to celebrate their performance in Shakespeare’s The Lover and the Poet for the Acting Company in New York.

She also recently covered Entertainment Weekly with Alec Baldwin to promote It’s Complicated due out on Christmas Day. They have great chemistry. Can’t wait. I will see anything with Meryl Streep. Meryl + Alec? Please. Immediately.
