It’s been exactly 10 days since she won her third Oscar. Here’s Meryl Streep was in Japan today to promote The Iron Lady.

March is Women’s History Month in the US. Thursday is International Women’s Day. When Streep came backstage last Sunday to the press room, she was asked about the National Women’s History Museum and she spoke on the subject with such passion and commitment, it was obvious what matters more to her in the end. She is the spokesperson for the planned institution. They don’t need tax dollars to build it, but they do need Congressional approval for the land. And it’s been years.

Huffington Post offered a good explanation for this today in an article that features both Meryl and Rush Limbaugh who, as you may have heard, is making headlines, again, for being a f-cking blowhard. Click here to read it. Oh no, no, don’t worry about Rush! He’ll be fiiiiine. 15 million people listen to him say sh-t like this every week. He’ll be OK.
