Nothing good happens after 2am. And also, obviously, even as a grownup, there’s something about the backseat that none of us can grow out of. What is it about the backseat? Like when you’re parked outside a goddamn hotel, why are you still stuck in the backseat? I guess because some people see mood as a fragile, fleeting thing. Is horniness like a rainbow then? (Dlisted)

Michael Fassbender in the first trailer for the upcoming The Snowman. It’s disturbing. And, if you’ve read Jo Nesbo’s book, you know who the victims are. The novel can be interpreted as an indictment against misogyny, not unlike The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I’m not sure if the movie will be tapping into that subtext. There are some people who believe that entertainment fetishises violence against women. And this movie will evidently show us a lot of violence committed against women. (Cele|bitchy)

Regina Hall looks amazing in orange. And while Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith are getting most of the mainstream publicity spots to promote Girls Trip, I wish we were getting more of Regina – I love her. I loved her in About Last Night. I love her on black-ish. Also I’ve heard that she and Tiffany Haddish steal the movie. Are you seeing Girls Trip this weekend? I might harass you about it some more tomorrow. The reviews have been outstanding. (Go Fug Yourself)

The voice of the celebrity men’s movement wants you to know that R Kelly does not trap the young women in his life. They’re there because he’s rich and they want fancy sh-t, OK? He provides them with a lifestyle. And, therefore, in exchange for said lifestyle, they must surrender their autonomy. The fact that all of them are young, none of them over 30, is irrelevant. Old bitches just don’t know what’s good for them. (TMZ)

Demi Lovato might have a new boyfriend that puts her within the Kardashian orbit. Or she’s pretending to be dating a guy who was once with one of them. I’m a hypocrite though for judging people based on who they’ve been with because when I think about some of the people I’ve dated, it’s a wonder that I’m married. (Celeb Dirty Laundry)

When tabloids meet art history – it’s the perfect Twitter account and visual representation of culture. Because culture isn’t just one thing. Culture is high and low. And each end of the spectrum reflects the other. Low culture can interpret high culture. High culture can inform low culture. (Vox)
