Legs were on display at the Out 100 event. My favorite look is Katy O’Brian. It’s like punk Beetlejuice. (Go Fug Yourself)

Polo seems to have landed with a bit of a whimper, so honestly, I won’t be surprised if Harry & Meghan’s Netflix contract comes to end…after Meghan’s cooking/lifestyle show, which is probably coming out in 2025. But even if they don’t re-up with Netflix, they produced four shows in five years, which is a good hit rate (especially given the pandemic and strike interruptions).

I do think they’re a little at loose ends, they haven’t really defined themselves in their post-royal life, but their Netflix deal is really not so dramatic. As always, there are fair criticisms to be made, but so much of the Sussex conversation is completely unhinged, you can’t really talk about those things without it getting tangled up in stuff like the Daily Mail’s weird fixation with their Netflix deal. Kayleigh Donaldson asking the important questions, such as “what will it take to get Amy Adams out of her flop era?”. Stop chasing Oscars, for one. (Pajiba)

Pokemon and Aardman, the animation studio behind Wallace and Gromit, are collaborating. There is a very specific cross-section of film nerds who will be very, very happy about this. (The Mary Sue)

Over the last couple years, Somebody Somewhere turned into a cult hit for HBO/Max. The heartwarming show about family, friendship, and grief, is set in Manhattan, Kansas and while it’s full of great acting and writing, it’s also full of donuts. Varsity Donuts, to be specific. So here is an ode to Somebody Somewhere and Varsity Donuts, the tastiest looking treats on TV. (Eater)
