It was a year ago that Natalie Portman’s then-husband, Benjamin Millepied, was busted by French media for cheating. Natalie filed for divorce a couple of months later, although that wasn’t reported until this March after their divorce was finalised.
Since then she’s been seen flirting with Paul Mescal in London and now this weekend in Paris, she was photographed out on a late night dinner with comedian Gad Elmaleh (Charlotte Casiraghi’s ex). You can see those photos below and they’re worth looking at because of her outfit. The dress is definitely giving “date”. The time is also giving “date” because according to the paps, they didn’t finish until 2am. At which point they left together in an Uber but then Natalie ended up going clubbing for another hour while Gad went home. That suggests, to me at least, that it was a first or second date, like this hasn’t been going on for a while. And maybe they didn’t spark?
If they did spark, she’s keeping her options open, as she should. She and Benjamin were together for 15 years, married for 11. Let the girl have her samples! Whether it’s Paul Mescal for a hot minute or Gad Elmaleh the next, there is no rush to serious. She’s single, her kids are now 13 and 7, they’re starting to be more independent, it’s summer, the freedom season… so there is time to explore a wide range of options.
