Did you see those pictures last weekend of Larry David at NY Fashion Week? He was front row at the Staud show, seated beside Jared Leto and Peter Berg. Jared and Peter at a fashion show? This tracks. Larry David? LOLOLOLOL.

Imagine if Larry David was at the Met Gala? What would he do at the Met Gala? Reminds me of the Vanity Fair Oscar party a few years ago. Duana and I were holed up in our room doing our usual post-Oscar all-nighter and when we saw that photo, of Larry doing a crossword at the party, already delirious, we lost our minds.
Anyway, the internet is losing its mind over these new photos of Larry having lunch with one of the Met Gala’s celebrity co-chairs, Timothée Chalamet. Photos here. Does this track? As random as it might seem, it actually does track. Especially for Timmy. It’s well-known that he’s as comfortable at Kid Cudi’s after-party as he is on a patio with Larry David, and often spends time with people who are much older than he is, so much so that it’s mentioned in almost every profile of him. He’s that one cousin at the family gathering who’s always hanging out with the elders and not the rest of the kids. And he’s also a nerd in the sense that he nerds out over other celebrities and artists – of course he would be the ultimate LD fanboy.
So are we about to see Timmy on Curb? A new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm is coming next month and there are always celebrity cameos on Curb. I didn’t love the last season of Curb, it definitely wasn’t the strongest. I wonder if LD bounces back better this season, and whether or not this is a new acquaintance he’s made with Timmy, in which case it’s unlikely that he’d show up in the new season, or if they already know each other because Timmy showed up for this upcoming season.
Whatever the case, there’s no doubt this is the new pressing question, whenever these two are next in front of a microphone. Tell us about your friendship with Larry David/Timothée Chalamet?
