Miracle Workers: End Times, the fourth season of the best show you’re not watching, is coming January 16. There is FINALLY a real trailer, introducing “Sid” and “Freya”, the latest iteration of the soulmates played by Daniel Radcliffe and Geraldine Viswanathan. This time, they’re stuck in the post-apocalypse, and the vibe is “Mad Max but make it a sitcom”. I am HERE FOR IT, as I am for whatever this show wants to get up to next. I hope they never stop making Miracle Workers. Six seasons and a movie!
I like that this time, the soulmates are already together. It’s a dynamic we’ve not seen yet. They’re always meeting and falling in love across time and space, but this time, we actually get to see them be in a relationship and work it out. I also love that in every scenario, no matter where or when or on which plane of existence, DanRad’s character is always a soft little bitch for Geraldine Viswanathan’s character (should we call her G-Vis? Is that anything?). This time, he’s playing a survivor, someone who is hacking it in the post-apocalyptic wilderness, and the minute he sees her, he’s all heart eyes. He can never be too soft! Anyway, the real challenge for season four is, of course, how they are EVER going to top DanRad singing “She’ll Be Comin’ Round the Mountain” in assless chaps. Yes, I am going to post this clip EVERY time we talk about Miracle Workers.
