You know what detail I missed out this week when photos emerged of Brad Pitt in France with his girlfriend Nicole Poturalski? It’s a detail that’s crucial to gossip: the timing. This is the last week of August. Somehow the paps were able to get shots of Brad and Nicole presumably heading to Chateau Miraval.

To take the new woman in your life to the place that was so special between you and your ex-wife and your children. Because I think we all remember that wedding and the wedding photos? Brange was surrounded by their six kids and their photo album was then revealed in PEOPLE Magazine.
Now it’s Angelina Jolie, yesterday, on her own with those six kids, all of them – Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox – out at Nobu in Malibu. It’s the first time in a while that they’ve been photographed all of them together.

Oh come on. You know the answer. Yes, Nobu has a patio, which means it’s COVID compliant. But that’s also why it’s been such a celebrity hotspot these days. It always is, but there are daily pap shots during the pandemic coming out of Nobu – it’s where Demi Lovato was papped right after her engagement, and where Leonardo DiCaprio has been papped on multiple occasions – so not exactly a place you go if you want to keep it on the low.
But definitely a place you want to hit up if you want to drive home the point that your ex-husband, who has had a complicated relationship with the children, is currently gallivanting with his hot young lover at the home she and their children once shared with him. Remember, the twins Vivienne and Knox were born in Nice. The entire family then spent several weeks at Chateau Miraval after their birth. The baby photos that were published of Brange and the newborn twins were taken at Chateau Miraval!
Let me answer your missing sensitivity chip with the sight of me, devoting myself to our kids, as you relive your youth. An unnecessary move, probably, but maybe she wanted to put an exclamation mark on it. And also, obviously, it’s good for gossip.
