There haven’t been all that many looks to consider lately because, well, lockdown is happening in a lot of places again. There was, however, a red carpet in London last night for Cirque du Soleil’s LUZIA and Jessie J gave us an outfit!
It’s hard to go wrong with black and white. And everything is right about this – I love the wide collar on the crop top… although I’m not sure we can call this a crop top because it’s almost, like, a bikini top with a collar, LOL. I know it’s kind of an oxymoron but I think I might buy a bikini top with a collar. There are swimsuits that are turtlenecks after all, so why not?
Actually quite curious to see what this crop top looks like without the blazer. The sleeves are white-cuffed and I always appreciate when they’re pulled longer than the blazer sleeve to create a white band on either side. Also, the pants are an excellent fit, even though I’m not a super fan of pants that become socks that then become shoes. That might just be my claustrophobia? I don’t like being wrapped.
And finally, Jessie’s always good for a chunky earring and she’s keeping that signature energy here. All of this is working. And I thank her for giving us some fashion to end the week.
Plus, an honourable mention to Mila Kunis because I am very much digging her brown, tan, and white cardigan sweater with the blurry furry stars. I’m not usually a cardigan person, but this one cannot be denied, it’s cute AF.
