Every Beyoncé performance is its own standard – she brings it every night, no matter where she is, so the baseline is 100, let’s be clear about that. For Paris, though, it seemed like she gave her shows there some extra juice.
Beyoncé’s three COWBOY CARTER stops in Paris marked the end of her European run for this tour after the six concerts she played in London and it was in Paris where she kicked off night one with Miley Cyrus and the first ever live rendition of “II Most Wanted” with Miley Cyrus. Paris wins. And Paris kept winning, because for the third and final show in Paris, another major exclusive – Jay-Z joined her on stage for the first time since 2018.
Jay came out for “Crazy in Love” and then had the extreme privilege of holding the stage on his own for “Ns in Paris” – at which point the crowd, which was hype allllll night, went apesh-t. Here’s how that looked from the VIP section with Kelly Rowland, Cardi B, and Miss Tina.
Jay exited to the first bars of “Drunk in Love” for the song’s first appearance on this tour. And the Parisian audience came correct with their appreciation for this gift too. I’m that loser shout-singing the song back at her through my laptop watching on TikTok, this is the effect of this song on the Hive.

Cardi, by the way, is a member of the Hive. Check out her caption on stories – this is pure Cardi B, she’s a stan but she has her own signature way of expressing herself, LOL.

Beyoncé is next taking COWBOY CARTER back home to Houston for two shows this weekend before her Fourth of July concert in Landover, so basically Washington, DC. In America’s capital for Independence Day during this administration? People have been theorising that she’s been intentional about where she’s performing and WHEN she’s performing. Can’t wait to see what she does with that setlist.
