This article at PEOPLE made me laugh yesterday. I get it that these magazines want to ingratiate themselves with royal family members, whether or not they’re in UK. But a post about Princess Kate’s curtsy proficiency is … infantalising. She’s the future queen of England, she’s been married to the heir for over a decade. Her curtsy *should* be perfect by now, why is it a headline, LOLOLOL. (PEOPLE)
The Ringer has a new look. And to celebrate their glow-up, they’ve been publishing a series of lookbacks, reposting memorable articles from the archives. I love The Ringer, and I’m always up for a re-read, and love the idea they had to compile a list of “Worst Calls in Ringer History” – takes that the writers no longer stand by. Or maybe they do. Stay strong Juliet Litman, I’m with you on the Halloween hate! Also Matt Dollinger, I’m with you – I will not quit Rory McIlroy either! (The Ringer)
One of the things I think we should all still be mad about is that The Acolyte was not renewed for a second season. Remember the THIRST for Manny Jacinto?! Thirst is MONEY! Why do people not understand this? Anyway, Manny is out here not trying to give people false hope but maybe giving them false hope. (Pajiba)
Moses Ingram and Natalie Portman stepped out for a screening together this week and Moses’s outfit is all me. I would wear this, and did wear a version of it two days ago. As for Natalie’s dress – I don’t hate it, it’s quite pretty. But those shoes are going to f-cking kill me, WHYYYY those shoes? (Go Fug Yourself)
There’s been another massive food theft in England – 2,500 savoury Christmas pies have gone missing, is this a Robin Hood thing? I’m not here to condone theft of any kind but I just want to ask this question: is it considered stealing if you go to a celebrity event where there’s free food and you bring a container and stuff it with as much food as you can from the platters? The stars don’t eat the food! (Celebitchy)
