I love technology. I’m writing this in the car, on the sea to sky highway from Vancouver to Whistler, with my Rogers rocket stick, on my laptop posting to my blog. Dean and I talked about this a while ago. Some people say I wish I lived in this era, or back in that era, but Dean and I love living right now. Then we started imagining living during a time when there were no flushing toilets etc. Please. I am too weak. I could never. I can’t even camp. Never mind camp, I can’t even trailer.

Anyway, the point is I was happy already turning on my laptop in the car driving along the coast and it’s so beautiful and Marcus is snorting in the backseat, thrilled to be out of the heat, and I open up my photo site and there’s Phylicia Rashad and Latifah looking so close on the set of Just Wright in New York and it lifted my spirits even more.

Aren’t these beautiful pictures?

Aren’t these beautiful women?

I will always love Phylicia Rashad. Because I will always love The Cosby Show. This might be the saddest thing to say, that a tv show can have such great meaning, but it was a big part of my life growing up. To this day I cannot ignore a Cosby Show rerun.
