Dear Gossips,
You know that photo of Adele at Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s Oscar party, which has become the Oscar party that everyone most wants to get into? It was posted to Instagram by a Polish television host called Kinga Rusin who, in addition to sharing her picture with Adele – which immediately went viral – also included exclusive details about the event. Like who was dancing and eating pizza and how she talked to Beyoncé herself who told her that she “overshadowed her” in her suit and even what Beyoncé wore (a blue velour dress)!
Ummm….
Adele’s photo has been removed from Kinga Rusin’s IG. In its place, this is what she posted last night – read the caption:
For obvious reasons?
Well, what was supposed to be obvious, if you’re blessed enough to make it inside Club Beyoncé, is that you don’t talk about Club Beyoncé. Even Chrissy Teigen, never known for holding back on social media, observes the blood oath of Club Beyoncé.
Kinga Rusin violated the blood oath – clearly, she’s experiencing the consequences “for obvious reasons”. And though I would never want to be in the same position, I do want to know how the judgment is delivered. Does someone show up at the door with a scroll to read the decree shouted at the top of their lungs: “EXCOMMUNICADO!”?
Or does she just wake up, go to the bathroom, and find the words “BOY BYE” scrawled in lipstick across the mirror?
Or is it simply oppressive silence? Like Beyoncé doesn’t have to spend energy telling you that you are wrong. You can simply feel it reverberating in the atmosphere around you.
That’s what Kinga Rusin is dealing with now. May Beyoncé have mercy on her soul.
Yours in gossip,
Lainey
