While everyone over at Buckingham Palace is hoping that the Jeffrey Epstein mess will go away, over in the United States, even though they bungled it for a decade (so let’s not give them too much credit), they’re still proceeding with an investigation, and today, there was a news conference held outside of Epstein’s New York mansion, with authorities directly commenting on Prince Andrew’s involvement – or lack thereof:
“To date, Prince Andrew has provided zero cooperation,” said [US Attorney Geoffrey] Berman, the top federal prosecutor in Manhattan.
The victims, at what I’m sure is immense personal expense, both emotional and financial, are continuing to push for answers. And it seems like the investigators are actually cooperating with them.
“Berman made his remarks about the case during a joint appearance with members of Safe Horizon, a nonprofit victim services agency, to discuss a new New York law that made it easier for people to sue over childhood sexual abuse.
He wouldn’t discuss the Epstein investigation in detail but reiterated that the case didn’t end with his death.
“Jeffrey Epstein couldn’t have done what he did without the assistance of others, and I can assure you that the investigation is moving forward,” Berman said.”
The assistance of others. The participation of others. And who would those people be? Well, clearly they want to talk to Prince Andrew for a reason. Prince Andrew was friends with Jeffrey Epstein, the dead rapist pedophile, for years. He stayed with Epstein several times, in places around the world. He invited Epstein to parties at Windsor Castle, while his ma, the QUEEN OF ENGLAND, was just a few rooms away.
And while he acknowledged that in hindsight, these were poor decisions, he also rationalised his connection to Epstein on the basis of the networking opportunities that Epstein provided. You’ll recall, he did also claim that if he was asked to, he would cooperate with investigators.
ZERO COOPERATION, however, is where we are today.
So are we yelling about this? Are the courtiers leaking it to the media that Andrew’s been squirreling and shirking? The way they can’t stop f-cking leaking Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s private information? Are we seeing wall to wall coverage in the British press about how Andrew and the royal family can’t be f-cked to cooperate with investigators so that the VICTIMS OF SEX TRAFFICKING might get some answers and closure?
Has there been criticism in said British media about how the royal institution might be protecting a member of the family who could have valuable information that will help investigators understand how this happened to so many girls who spent years being exploited by rich, powerful men?
Have there been articles written by the same reporters foaming at the mouth over House Sussex expenses wondering about the public funds that go into supporting Prince Andrew who has not been able to adequately explain his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, the dead rapist pedophile?
LOL, please.
Andrew is his mother’s “rock”, remember? Remember when a “senior royal source” told The Sun that Andrew was the Queen’s “tower of strength” during Sussexit? That’s the kind of leaking that the courtiers at Buckingham Palace have been placing in the British tabloids while selling out Harry and Meghan. But, you know, sure sure, there’s no double standard. I can’t see it, can you?
