Reese Witherspoon’s husband was a carby faced unfaithful douche. So they divorced. And she didn’t shout at the ocean or throw herself a pity party. Instead, she hooked up with Olivier Theyskens and rocked a yellow Nina Ricci down the Golden Globes red carpet announcing her single gorgessity. Several stylish appearances later, including at the Oscars that year, there was a new younger Jakey boyfriend and a career that still holds strong.
When her relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal ended, Reese waited the appropriate amount of time and then started dating again. His name is Jim Toth. He’s an agent with CAA. She introduced him to us gradually. A shot of them leaving dinner several weeks ago, laughing and relaxed and now this weekend, for her birthday, on a getaway without the children, happily holding hands in Ojai where she has a home. This is how you do. She KNOWS.
So if I were Jakey G, I’d be hopping on a short flight from Montreal (where he’s currently filming) to Toronto for a visit with Rachel McAdams. Like, why aren’t they married already???
