Reese Witherspoon’s book promo has been really substantive, including a New York Times profile written by a journalist and not another celebrity. She definitely timed this to correspond with the new season of The Morning Show, right? Of course, she’s a pro.

Kelsey Ballerini addressed her breakup with a video using Ariana Grande audio and asking for privacy. Overall, how often does asking for privacy on social media ever actually lead to privacy? Pretty much never. I read about this ask for privacy on PEOPLE

I completely missed Carrie Coon at the Emmys. Oh the cut is good. With the side profile, she knows it.

Celebrity beauty brands get a lot of attention but you know who is actually killing it? Shay Mitchell, founder of BÉIS. I can see this being an acquisition. She has 36 million followers on Instagram –that’s really strong, way beyond influencer levels.

This isn’t exactly a case of Hollywood Sliding Doors but Sarah Hyland was the host of Love Island USA, she took a break to do Little Shop of Horrors. A post-Scandoval Ariana Madix filled her slot. Then the show exploded.

Sarah hasn’t been back and it seems unlikely that Love Island would fiddle with a winning formula. But she will be in Just in Time on Broadway fairly soon. It seems like everyone is where they want to be.

I know Netflix doesn’t release straight numbers but I’m curious as to how this show is in its fifth season when everyone says it’s a hate watch. That’s what I see online, that’s what I see in the comments, that’s what I hear from people I know who watch it. How is that sustainable for five seasons?!
