For almost a year now Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have been able to keep their first child’s name a secret from the public. Yesterday the Daily Mail somehow dug up the birth certificate and broke the news. His name is RZA Athelston Mayers.
If RiRi and Rocky are bothered by the leak, they’re not showing it because they stepped out yesterday for some shopping and seemed to be in good spirits in LA. Both are smiling, they were playful with each other, and there was even a moment when she leaned in for a hug.
So this is a family of Rs, and RZA after Wu-Tang’s leader which continues a family tradition as Rocky, whose real name is Rakim, is named after the OG. That would mean, then, that their second child will have a name that begins with R too, right? So as not to leave the next baby out of a naming feature that all family members share?
Meanwhile people are still speculating about whether or not Rihanna and Rocky are married after their appearance at the Met Gala.
