RDJ left Letterman with his ubiquitous lunch box yesterday. I know it’s not really a lunch box but I like calling it one. Sounds better than his “camera case in which he stores his vitamins which is not a euphemism for drugs, he really does take a lot of vitamins”.

As usual, he was great on Letterman last night. Really really great watchable entertaining television. And he always makes Dave laugh. Like an authentic laugh. Those always have to be earned. Dave doesn’t authentic laugh for anyone. Dave reserves his authentic laughs for the special ones. And Dave likes RDJ. A lot.

Can’t find the full clip but here’s a taste. If you can find the full clip it’s so much better. And then this morning he woke up super early for Good Morning America in great spirits, enthusiastically pimping Iron Man 2 which is generating mostly positive reviews so far – 75% on Rotten Tomatoes as of this morning and no, that’s not as strong as the first, but with the first you weren’t expecting him to charm you like he did, and when he did it was the best surprise, and this time you already know, so it’s a different set of expectations.

75% so far for a sequel is not bad at all. Please. Jennifer Aniston only wishes she could make a movie for 75% . Same goes for Sarah Jessica Parker. And Matthew McConaughey. And, um, even Justin Timberlake. Heh.
