I see a lady in a blazer, and I immediately hear She’s changing her name, from Kitty to Karen… Cake remains a most excellent band. (Go Fug Yourself)

The Utah high school where they filmed Footloose back in the day is moving to a new facility. Kevin Bacon will attend the final prom held in the building where he once roamed, stirring up rebellion one step-ball-change at a time. This is so sweet, the high school kids are so excited, Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick are lowkey iconic. (Celebitchy)

Jerry Seinfeld’s Poptart movie is here at last, and it unironically looks great. Definitely getting Weird: The Al Yankovic Story vibes, as Seinfeld reimagines the breakfast food industry as a space race-style cutthroat competition to reinvent milk and cereal. It looks goofy, and Bill Burr as JFK made me laugh out loud. This is the man who wrote a movie about a bee falling in love with a human woman, I will follow him anywhere, except within 300 feet of a high school iykyk. (Pajiba)

The billionaire fight for control of Disney will be settled next week. However it works out, Bob Iger’s reputation is irrevocably changed. He was once the most respected man in Hollywood. Now, he’s just another suit. (THR)

On the eve of Cowboy Carter, Aallyah Wright examines the legacy of Black cowgirls and rodeo riders. Never let CMT convince you rodeo is all white, there is a long and rich history of Black rodeo riders, as well as Black rodeos. This is on the Cowboy Carter syllabus for sure. (Capital B News)
