Saniyya Sidney’s first Oscar dress was perfect. I don’t think she’ll look back on this with regret. The colours are so pretty on her, the fit is terrific, and she just looks so happy to be there. I hope she gets to go back someday soon. Also, totally agree, David Oyelowo’s suit was one of the highlights of the night. You could always see him! (Go Fug Yourself)

I really loved Maggie Gyllenhaal’s look at the Oscars last night. It was Schiaparelli and there was no other dress like it on the carpet, which is what made it so special. And so perfect for her style lane. This is the kind of style flair that I was looking for from Nicole Kidman – and Maggie ended up bringing it. (Cele|bitchy)
