Not sure if you watched the premiere of fashion star but Jessica Simpson was wearing this great red dress, with cap sleeves and cowl neck, it looked great, and would be perfect work.  I’m almost a lawyer (three more months) so it has to be law firm appropriate, but still fashionable Thanks, T

Am I alone in thinking Fashion Star is one serious dose of A.D.D.?  I paused the show last week and in one screen shot I counted 8 people in one shot and 6 of them were “hosts”.  The f-ck?!  Anyway, yes, Jessica’s dress looked great that night and of course it did, it was McQueen. So T, since you haven’t made partner just yet, let’s find something easier on the cash flow.

This pencil dress from ASOS is probably the closest match to the Mcqueen. The silhouette is spot on and the structure in the shoulders gives a similar effect.  Double spanx that sucker up and you’re in business.

If the cowl neck of Jessica’s dress is what you covet then stand by, I have the perfect option for you here.

For something less stiff and more playful check out this Peter Pan collar dress.

Every time I hear the term “peplum” I want to barf in someone’s face, but T, if you like the rest of the world can’t get enough of it peep out this bold and finely tailored p#*^&!m dress. The p#*^&!m isn’t super aggressive so it will add just the right amount of flare for the office.

Finally, if all you need is a straight up no frill red dress then look no further than this timeless Steffen Schraut dress.
