WHY: No one has ever worn drop crotched denim better than Aaliyah. Remember what she looked like in Are you that Somebody? Please. She swagged and sagged so hard in them.
I’m not playing around when I tell you that I’ve always dreamed of looking that good in a pair of jeans. While I’ll never compete I feel like these Diesel jeans are the closest I’ll ever come to perfecting the look. I was skeptical when the sales guy told me I had to try them on, but seriously, no joke, they looked f-cking rad.
It all comes down to the details - the right amount of fading, the worn-out patches, the tapered leg, but the best part is that damn drop crotch. The material serves up just the right amount of stiffness so it doesn’t look like you’ve just taken a giant dump in your crotch. I promise.
Now, I know these are an investment, but if the trend has been going strong since 1998 that’s a good indicator that it’s never going away.
