WHAT: Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer

WHY: I’ve tried a crap load of eye primers in my day, but I’m saying it loud and proud that Smashbox’s Lid Primer gets top prize. I have no idea if it’s a new product, but it’s new to me, so that’s all that matters.
I give it two snaps up for keeping my eye shadow in place, which means no sick crease line and no shadow fade out by the end of the day. What I love most though is it totally evens out the skin tone on my eye lid, so on days where I want to free ball without a lot of makeup, I still get away with a fresh done look. And for an extra bang for your buck, smudge a little under your eye for some dark circle relief.
There is however one drawback – it only comes in one shade. So come on Smashbox, get on the beauty rainbow train!
