After a long string of unworthies – Jared Leto, Justin Timberlake, Josh Hartnett – Scarlett Johansson has finally hooked up with a dude who deserves her. No downgrades on either side…I love it.

Check it out – Scarjo and Ryan Reynolds after spending a hot weekend together in Vancouver arrived back in LA yesterday holding hands and not hiding. When in Canada the two were virtually undisturbed, dining at West in South Granville, shopping for fresh flowers in the afternoons, and even brunching with his family – a sure indication they’ve stepped up the seriousness of their relationship.

I’m told also that they were fully aware they were being photographed yesterday at the LAX and seemed to make it a point, especially Ryan, to hang on to each other’s hands. Hot, non?

Way way way hotter than Shelf Ass and Pip.
