Rainbow Community Places is having a fundraiser comedy benefit in Toronto on Sunday, September 29th and we’re hoping you can join!

The evening is hosted by renowned comedian/actor/writer Martha Chaves (Just for Laughs, We're Funny That Way, CBC) and will feature an amazing lineup of comedy artists including Peter Wildman (The Frantics, The Red Green Show), Robert Watson (Gay AF Comedy), Kelly Zemnickis (CBC's Laugh Out Loud), Rush Kazi (Just For Laughs, Sketchfest), Elvira Kurt (PopCultured, Spin Off, My Fabulous Gay Wedding), Deborah Kimmett (The Debaters, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, CBC's Laugh Out Loud), and Ted Morris (America's Got Talent, The Debaters, Just for Laughs). The benefit will also have a silent auction, food and drinks.

Rainbow Community Places provide services to its participants to address and prevent problems experienced by members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. RCP provides structured programs to resolve issues specific to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, including homophobia, transphobia and related health, safety and social issues. They have two programs. Toby’s Place provides a safe drop-in center for youth ages 13 to 22 years and Dorothy’s Place offers a safe place for low-income seniors +55. These programs were previously run by the Birchcliff Bluffs United Church.
