Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’s daughter, Willa, was born in July. So this is her first Mother’s Day and she and Joe went shopping with his parents. Sophie and Joe also recently celebrated the second anniversary of their first wedding – the one that happened in Vegas.
OK can we talk about her Mother’s Day outfit now? I love this look. And it appears to be a wrap dress, which is not my usual sh-t. But this isn’t like a DVF wrap, which along with a navy blue shift dress is basic office attire now. Sophie’s wrap is cut like a button-down shirt up top, and the wrapping only happens at the waist, and not around the torso. There’s also a beach dress sarong vibe to it which takes it away from the corporate feel of a wrap dress but my favourite, favourite part of the fit is the sunglasses. It’s matchy-matchy but not too matchy-matchy.
And definitely not matchy-matchy with what Joe is wearing. Which is… Danny Zuko cosplay? I don’t hate it. But this was not a casual, grab anything head out of the door. That silky satin bowling shirt, worn open, and the chain over a beater tank, and a wider pant leg, like a dad leg. Definitely of a past era which is also the current era in men’s fashion. You dig?
