I think it didn’t get the same level of attention as Sydney Sweeney’s ad because Sydney was solo and nude while Emily is part of a large campaign with current sports superstars and other celebrities like Spike Lee, Alexandra Daddario, and Craig Robinson. But it really feels like NFTs all over again.

Julianne Hough, Neil Patrick Harris, and Austin Scott all went to the ballpark but dressed for different events. These lace dresses are very on-trend right now.

Oliva Jade was at Vogue World, which overlapped with Milan Fashion Week. Kendall Jenner walked at the Bottega Veneta show and her boyfriend Jacob Elordi was in the front row. Jacob and Olivia were off-and-on for years and Kendall and Olivia definitely overlap in their social groups. Kendall has a pretty gossipy dating history but gives nothing in her interviews and on their show so no one really talks about it, hiding in plain sight.

I meant to post this last week but the Rita Wilson back tattoo… I had to admit I double-checked if it was AI. It appears to be a temporary tattoo in celebration of Chet Hanks’s birthday, maybe? And how can we talk about surprising back tattoos without mentioning the most prominent of them all, Ben Affleck. I think about that phoenix sometimes.

Sylvester Stallone’s New York Times profile by Lulu Garcia-Navarro (to promote his memoir, The Steps) is a really fascinating look at the life of a movie star who feels like he’s running out of time. Sly embodied a certain type of masculinity and was greatly rewarded – and suffered – for it. He speaks candidly about his abusive childhood, his failures as a father and a lot of regret. I can appreciate that he submitted to the process of an interview like this and answered the thoughtful questions, rather than just making the rounds eating chicken and doing little skits.
