In a new interview with Variety, Sydney Sweeney talks Bond rumours (which obviously come from her relationship with the franchise’s new overlord Jeff Bezos and his overlord, his wife). It seems premature to cast a Bond girl before Bond because the chemistry is essential. Wouldn’t Bond be cast first since he sticks around for multiple films? And crackling chemistry is not exactly Sydney’s forte.

The whole Variety piece implies she is underrated but isn’t she… kind of perfectly rated for what she has done so far in her career?

Yesterday Lainey wrote about the Oscar buzz around Kate Hudson for Song Sung Blue. It is early days but this already has a lot going for it in terms of a campaign. Hugh Jackman, much loved movie star with only one nomination in his career. Kate, very well liked and also one nomination for the memorable Penny Lane.
