As we all know by now, this is the tightest most unpredictable Oscar race in years. Normally I’d be telling you to study. But I don’t know that studying actually matters here. The preferential ballot could really come into play and a film that’s placing in third or fourth could surge ahead if the top two split votes. Which means anything is possible. For you too!
If you’re new to this site – welcome to our annual tradition: you fill in the ballot with your predictions in the 24 Oscar categories and if you get the most correct and your entry is submitted the earliest, you win a Google Home Mini and a designer bag.
Picking the bag is the best and worst. The best because I love picking bags. The worst because the bag is not mine. Sasha and I are obsessed with this year’s bag, the Wandler Hortensia. This is the label everyone’s been talking about and the next breakout luxury brand. They only launched in 2017. Last year the buzz kept building through the summer and the fall so while it’s not mainstream yet, if you win this, you are, as Sasha said, “on the crest of that wave”.
But also… even without the hype…it’s f-cking gorgeous. Look at this perfect, perfect tan.
So, you ready?
Enter your information into the ballot. Maximum one entry per person per email address is allowed. Fill in all applicable fields. Once you've completed the required fields, hit "Submit" to be taken to the ballot.
Once in the ballot, use the pull-down menus to select which people or films you think will win each category. You must enter a choice for each category. If you miss one, you will be prompted to make a selection when you try to submit your ballot. IMPORTANT: Once you make your selections and submit your ballot, you cannot modify your selections. This is important since you're only allowed only one entry per email address. Be sure of your picks before you submit!
The contest will be open until 11:59pm Pacific on Februay 23, 2019 (the night before the show). The winner will be the person who makes the most correct predictions (and meets all eligibility criteria). In the event of a tie, the tie break will go to the person who meets all eligibility criteria who submitted their ballot earlier than the individual or individuals with whom they are tied.
