Yesterday we didn’t get a chance to talk about the holiday Beckham messiness, which is the “unfollowing” that, according to Cruz Beckham, was actually a block by Brooklyn. Prior to the block, Victoria had been liking Brooklyn’s posts.
Ashley Tisdale’s rep told TMZ that the toxic mom group story for The Cut isn’t about Mandy Moore, Hilary Duff and Meghan Trainor, it’s a different group. The problem is the genie is now out of that bottle. A quick search shows that Ashley is still followed by Mandy but not by Hilary or Meghan (to be clear, I’m not sure if she ever was). The group chat must be popping.
Social media menace Bethenny Frankel talked about the Hunger Games of St. Barths during the holidays. A bunch of rich and famous people got stuck there (like Leonardo DiCaprio, who had to miss the Palm Springs International Film Awards). Bethenny is an absolute pill but she has the money to be in these places and a pretty sharp understanding of social dynamics, new money versus old money, and classism. She confirms that the DJ lunches are as cringe as they look on social media.
I love how Dax Shepard has to pretend to be all cool and quippy about Cher not seeing why Kristen Bell is with him. There is zero sugarcoating here. Cher knows them personally so she’s working with different information but in terms of public personas and the way they move through their fame, they are perfect for each other.
