Fully acknowledge that this post is mainly about me and my thirst. So, Challengers. The team was fully represented at the Met Gala last night with Zendaya and Jonathan Anderson as co-chairs, Luca Guadagnino in attendance, and Tashi Duncan’s “little white boys” all taken care of as Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist both were there and looking adorable in Loewe.

There is a very healthy Mike Faist hive on social media and… well… the radish/turnip set them off.

Between the two though, my kink is Josh. The way I giggled and squealed when he showed up on the carpet with that sly grin and his tousled sleepy hair, iykyk. But also? The look is SO GOOD. The split tail jacket, the detailing on that shirt, zoom in and see how exquisite the fabric is. And those boots!

Here’s where I get a little too personal. I have a thing for dudes with slightly bowed legs in pants exactly the way Josh is wearing them. And cute ears. So while I’m fangirling like this over Josh during our ETALK production screening last night, our anchor Tyrone Edwards mutters, “Yeah, because he looks like Jacek”. My husband. I mean I didn’t realise it until he pointed it out, but yeah, this is basically the archetype. If only Jacek would f-cking moisturise and actually wear good clothes.

ANYWAY, the point is, I have a very real Josh O’Connor problem now and the Barry Keoghan problem is gone.

Enough horny from me, time to admire the best outfit ever on Jeremy Strong! Our number one boy Came.To.Serve! Missing from award season, Jeremy was saving all his big c-nt energy for the Met Gala, like theatre kid that he is. He has always understood the assignment at the Met Gala and this year is no exception. That little nod at the end is basically a self-blessing, plus an excuse to move that f-cking earring, GO OFF JEREMY STRONG.

But how about Lewis Hamilton coming in with the research? Lewis wore Burberry and explained the thought behind his look. If you weren’t able to watch the livestream, please take a couple minutes to listen to Lewis as he describes it, jetting into the Met Gala after the Miami Grand Prix. He is a KING.

From a king to … a prince, a fairytale prince in the form of Bad Bunny. Benito the co-chair wore Maison Margiela, the real theme of the night, in search of his princess. I love this suit, the tailoring, the exposed stitches, the red military bands on the inside of the pants, and definitely the hat, because it borders on goofy in these modern times but it’s also a costume party after all so when else are you going to wear it? The hat is exactly why Benito has become one of the Met Gala’s favourite fashion girlies, a boy who loves to play dress-up.

As for that princess – this was taken at the after-party:

Kendall Jenner, Bad Bunny and guests at the Après Met 2 Met Gala After Party hosted by Carlos Nazario, Emily Ratajkowski, Francesco Risso, Paloma Elsesser, Raul Lopez and Renell Medra on May 6, 2024 in New York, New York

Benito and Kendall were seen hanging out at various points in the night. So now people think this might be back on again:

That’s about all the time I want to spent on them today because I’d much rather get to Alton Mason, always the winner, in Thom Browne. One day, if the Met Gala can continue to exist, the theme will be Thom Browne, and I hope I’m alive to see it because for the last few years, Thom Browne has been the Met Gala’s MVP. This fit on Alton Mason is exquisite, from the veil to the open jacket, the signature TB tailoring, and those f-ckingggggg shoes that will probably never go into general production for retail and I am sick about, because I need, not just want, it’s a need. Truly a need. I will think about them every day until I can manifest this reality.
