BTS holds a surprise concert from a military base in South Korea. Jennifer Lopez posts a new video on YouTube: “Ben Affleck ghosted me – How I Survived 2024”. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson confirm the crazy: that they’ve been secretly married and raising children together for the last decade. Tom Cruise ziplines from the Hollywood sign and onto a motorbike, races to Malibu and proposes to Demi Moore. Harry Styles crashes Zendaya and Tom Holland’s Christmas party and tells Tom he’s the one. 

But unless it’s that level of chaos, LaineyGossip will be dark starting tomorrow, Friday 20 December and returning to regular business on Sunday 5 January for a livechat during the Golden Globes telecast at our Substack, The Squawk. Are you going to the movies over the holidays? I am. I’ve already told you that on Christmas Day it’s going to be horny, because my pick is Babygirl. If you’re seeing Babygirl too, be prepared – you will come out of that movie with a Harris Dickinson problem. This is the time of year when people have cookie swap parties. I think? I mean I don’t know for sure because I’ve never been invited to one. Now I’m not saying that I would like to be invited to one, but if I were invited to one, I know exactly what cookies to bake: banana walnut. I don’t love an overly sweet cookie. This is why I don’t f-ck with a Crumbl cookie – they are wayyyyyyy too sweet. My banana walnut cookies are perfectly not that sweet. Does that disqualify me from a cookie swap party? (Eater)
