I’ve missed Lupita Nyong’o on the red carpet and this two piece is excellent, it’s Zac Posen for Gap Studio. Whatever they are paying him at Gap is worth it; bringing in Victoria Beckham and Hailey Bieber has been a hit but I feel like a lot of people slept on the A.P.C. collaboration, there are still so many great pieces.

Producer Matthew Wright passed away in his sleep and a GoFundMe was started to help his husband with expenses. His death made headlines because Matthew worked for The Ellen DeGeneres Show and helped launch The Jennifer Hudson Show.  Ellen made a video about it and donated $5k to the GoFundMe. I’ll just say what we are all thinking: $5k is cheap as f-ck. “But any amount helps!” Ok sure, in normal circumstances for normal people, like his colleagues. “No one is obligated to donate!” Ok, then don’t. But if you are worth hundreds of millions, loosen those purse strings. There is no equivalent to normal finances here. This is beyond cheap, this is Ebenezer-level miserly behaviour. If it turns out she privately funded costs for his family, I will eat my hat. But this is why people don’t like her anymore!

My unpopular take is that true crime content, popularized by Dateline, is low-vibrational, and it’s why adult women think they are in constant danger of being kidnapped at Target. And they make that paranoia everyone else’s problem. But the US Weekly editors were smart to put the hosts on the cover, this group of people is probably more recognized across Gen Z to Boomer demographics than most other celebrities.

Mega chic TV therapist Dr. Orna Guralnik attended the CFDA Awards with jeweller Presley Oldham. Presley is the nephew of designer Todd Oldham and his designs are a real departure from the dainty gold pieces celebrities usually wear on the red carpet. He works with chunky stones and unusual configurations, with lots of beads, pearls, and colour. His pieces are still relatively affordable (for jewelry), as of now. Tinashe and designer Christopher John Rodgers both wore his pieces as well, her pants are the perfect length to show off the anklet.

James McAvoy was on Chelsea Handler’s podcast and took on the question of relationship “icks” and his advice is actually pretty solid. This man has dated.
