Kylie reps Timmy…and the Jays
I live in Toronto. And I was alive when the Toronto Blue Jays baseball club was founded, old enough to remember when you could buy tickets to the game at Exhibition Stadium, their first and former park, at the grocery store for $7. I was a kid watching from the cheap seats with my dad, uncle, and cousins. The Jays won their first World Series when I was a first-year university student. When they repeated the following year, I was part of the crush of people spilling out onto Richmond Street – these are part of my core memories.
So the tabs I have open right now on my laptop are all Ticketmaster. I am queuing for tickets to watch the Jays play in the American League Championship Series and the right to compete in the World Series. Because last night the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. I can say I enjoyed the result, but I can’t say I enjoyed the night. It is so f-cking stressful, OMG. There was about 45 minutes where I listened to game while locked in the bathroom because it was bringing them better luck while I was away from the television, this is how insane it’s been, LOL. Our site manager, Emily, can attest to this because she spent the night at our place to witness our anxiousness; it wasn’t just me – Jacek sweated through his clothing, I don’t know how we’re going to survive the next round.
Wait, this isn’t a sports website, it’s a celebrity one. So here’s the celebrity angle: Bad Bunny was at game three in NYC on Tuesday night and a foul ball landed on him:

Last night, for game four, it was Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner, continuing their New York sports streak. They’ve been to the US Open, they’ve been to the Knicks playoff game, and now Timmy – who is a New York native – was showing up for the Yankees.
Kylie would obviously be cheering for Timmy’s team and she was repping his new movie, Marty Supreme, wearing a hoodie from the film’s merch line. Here’s video of him seemingly explaining to her how the game works:

Here’s a look at them from the front.

This is a better shot at Kylie’s hoodie… and you will note… it’s blue, with white lettering and red stars that could look like maples and, well, you know which team’s colours for this particular series were blue, white, and red? Blue and white for blue jays, red for Canada…
GO JAYS GO!
I mean we know, but this really emphasises the fact that Kylie Jenner knows f-ck all about sports because, like, you don’t even have to be as superstitious as I am to be more careful about repping team colours. The other day, while deciding what to wear on our show, I was leaning heavily blue and there was a shirt that had stripes and I wouldn’t even do it because the Yankees are so connected to their stripes.
Not that I’m complaining. If Kylie Jenner wants to put our colours on her body while present to watch the Jays take the ALDS, I appreciate it.
Update: I was queuing for three games, and did not get tickets to any of them because we have bills to pay. So it looks like I might be watching from the bathroom starting on Sunday.
