The yacht-sinking orcas are, apparently, the mean teens of the ocean. Scientists are chalking the behavior up to juvenile delinquency. But have they considered generational trauma? The European pods have been particularly hard hit by violent kidnappings as people captured wild orcas to stock amusement parks. Those orcas have grown up on stories of their various family members who were either kidnapped or killed in the attempt. Maybe they just hate boats for a good reason! Sorry for all the food content, but I saw this article by a barista breaking down the difference between cold brew and iced coffee and had to read it immediately. I am a basic bitch who drinks iced coffee…because I don’t actually like coffee, I just have a crippling caffeine addiction, and I rely on the ice to water down the gross coffee taste. 

We have three coffee shops in my neighborhood, one has been here forever, yet the baristas will NOT make an iced coffee (an insult to their senses, or something). Another proudly advertises that they DO make iced coffee, AND “coffee milkshakes”, which I guess is just an unbranded Frappuccino. The third minds their own business but does serve both cold brew and iced coffee. It’s a cold coffee cold war! (Spoon University)
